During a recent trip to Grand Teton National Park, I came across a field of Columbines. I was struck by each of their colorful personalities. After a bit of research, my guess is that these are of the Alpine species, which grow best in cooler climates. I am always amazed by nature. Continue reading “Colorful Combos”
Another of America’s greatest treasures is Grand Teton National Park. I had the good fortune to visit this outdoor enthusiast’s paradise during a road trip to some of the great National Parks of the West. Staying within the park only adds to the experience. I chose to stay at the Colter Bay Cabins. It was great to wake up early and capture the morning sunrise. The solitude does wonders for the mind and soul. Continue reading “Grand Teton National Park”
In looking back to the places I visited during the past year, I realize that the United States has some of the most picturesque scenery that the world has to offer. Here are some photos from Monument Valley taken in the Navajo Tribal Park. I had the opportunity to stay in the park overnight, and was able to capture both sunset and sunrise scenes.
